CHILDREN'S MINISTRY SPONSORED
BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Saturday, October 8, 2011, 1 p.m.

The Children’s Ministry of Plymouth Church was proud to host our first “Blessing of the Animals” on Saturday, October 8th in honor of St. Francis, Patron Saint of animals and the environment. St. Francis of Assisi was a devout Christian who lived in the 13th century. The church celebrates his life in October, and it is fitting that we use this occasion to bring our pets to church and give God thanks for the wonderful gift of animals. A goodwill offering was accepted to help the Children’s Ministry support our mission projects.
